Yesterday at our local riding club we had our annual Queen’s Contest. Several years ago we asked a veterinarian if he would come out and perform his services for our horses. It is open to the public. It has grown each year. This year we had five stations: a veterinarian, an equine dentist, an equine chiropractor, a horseshoer and also a station offering electromagnetic pulse therapy for horses. We had a good turn out, I must say. I needed one of my horses trimmed, so I tried out the horseshoer. I had never met this man or ever heard of him. I use one of the best horseshoers in this part of the country, but sometimes I don’t have the time to take my horses to him. I have tried out several local shoers, but I was not happy with them. I was happy with the trim job this shoer did on my gelding, so I asked him for a business card when he had finished. He explained that he didn’t have a business card and didn’t have the need for any. He proceeded to pull down the side of his trailer and there painted on the side was his phone number. The first 3 digits I can’t remember, but the last 4 digits were SHOE. I told him that I printed business cards and if he ever needed any I could print them for him. I grinned as I walked off because I had already forgotten his number!
When someone gives me a business card, I put the information from the card into my phone. This way I can keep the card or not, whatever I decide. Here are some examples of cards I designed for my husband to take to his knife shows. These cards can be printed full color on both sides. They are printed on gloss cover and are very sturdy. I normally sell these cards for $125 per 1000. For the next two weeks I am running a special for $100, this does not include tax and shipping. The order must be finalized by April 30, 2013 to get this price. Give me a call at 318/925-1040. Tammy
